PTHSS has provided basketball teams for boy's middle school through high school and for girl's high school. This year, we are planning to host boys and girls teams from middle school through high school. Yes! We are planning to offer a girl's middle school team for the first time this year! Get the word out and tell others that might be interested.
Middle school athletes should normally be in sixth through eighth grade (but must be at least 10 by September 1) to participate. High school players should be in ninth through twelfth grade (but must be at least 13 by September 1).
Registration - Monday, August 23!
2010-2011 Basketball registration will be held on Monday, 23 August at 7 PM at Birchman Baptist Church Gym. Both Parents and prospective players must attend to be a part of the PT Warriors basketball program this year.
The Warriors will be fielding both Middle School and High School teams for both boys and girls. Players must be in at least 6th grade to participate (but no younger than 10 years)
The player fees this season will be:
- Middle School (14 & Under Teams) - $225 for 1st year players / $175 for returning players
- High School - $325 for 1st year players / $225 for returning players / $250 for those moving up from 14 & Under team
Note: Returning players use their uniform from last year.
Half of
the player fee is due at signups with the remainder due Nov. 1st. For
families with multiple players, we offer a $25 discount for each
player.
Practice / Game Schedule:
Practices will begin in early September and are typically held at Birchman Baptist Church in West Fort Worth. Click on the link for map and directions. In the past, we have practiced on Monday and Thursday evenings. Games will begin at the end of October and will continue through mid-March, culminating with the National Christian Home School Basketball Championship Tournament in Springfield, MO in March 2011. Specific practice and game dates will be discussed at the registration meeting and will subsequently be posted to the Organization's Calendar.
