PTHSS is gearing up for the 2009/2010 season! If you have a specific question, please email the Director (David Manning). If you are interested in scheduling a game with one of the Warriors teams, please email the Scheduler (Wendy Brantley). Contact information is also provided below.
PTHSS provides basketball teams for boy's middle school through high school and for girl's high school. Middle school athletes should normally be in sixth through eighth grade (but must be at least 10 by September 1) to participate. High school players should be in ninth through twelfth grade (but must be at least 13 by September 1).
Basketball registration is scheduled for 7:00 PM, August 24 at Birchman Baptist Church in West Fort Worth. We are anticipating a good turnout! The number of players that signup and number of teams we field will dictate if we have tryouts or not. If interested in playing with the Warriors, please read the seven page PTHSS Guidelines, Expectations, and Rules of Conduct document, prior to signups (see link on the left side of this page). Also, please fill out and bring the Medical Release form and PTHSS Member / Athlete Registration form to signups (see the links below). Half of the player fee will be due at signups and the remainder by November 1.
The season will begin with practices in September & October. Games will begin at the end of October and will continue through mid-March, culminating with the National Christian Home School Basketball Championship Tournament in Springfield, MO. The PT Warriors are planning to have at least the following basketball teams:
- 18 & Under Boys
- 18 & Under Girls
- 14 & Under Boys
Practices are typically held on Mondays and Thursdays evenings at Birchman Baptist Church in West Fort Worth. Click on the link for map and directions. Specific practice and game dates will be included in the Organization's Calendar.
