PT Warriors Football Parker-Tarrant Home School Sports' (PTHSS) 6-man Football is ready to kickoff it's summer conditioning program! We already have a full slate of games scheduled for the fall. This year PTHSS has joined the Texas Christian Athletic League (TCAL) and will be competing against district competition Dallas Jehovah Jireh, Waco Live Oak, and Fort Worth THESA. Jon Blackburn will once again be leading our program. Our young men will be challenged not only with new football and physical skills, but character and life skills as well. The PTHSS football program is for home-schooled young men 7th through 12th grade. Registration Registration will be conducted on Thursday, June 3 at our Annual PTHSS Member and Information Meeting. Details on the meeting at provided on our home page. Both returning and new players are required to fill out a Member / Athlete registration form and a medical release form. These two forms are available on our organization page or at the bottom of this page. It will speed the registration process on June 3 if you bring these forms already filled out. Please note that at least one parent and the each athlete are required to read and sign a statement that they have read and agree to abide by our organization's guidelines and rules of conduct. Off Season Conditioning Football is a physical sport. The Warriors aim to be the most physically prepared team on the field every game. As such, our off season program is critical to our success. Off season conditioning is not required, but all players hoping to contribute to a winning Warriors season are strongly encouraged to attend as many of the conditioning sessions as possible. Off season conditioning will begin on Monday, June 14 and we will be offering three sessions a week up to Warrior Camp. More information on our off season program will be provided at our Annual Meeting. Warriors Camp - "Where Boys Become Man!" Warriors Camp is "Where Boys Become Men." Held at Coach Blackburn's "Circle P Ranch" Retreat in Whitt, TX, it is the ultimate conditioning camp. Last year, we had two groups young men (high school and junior high) complete the camp. Like last year, camp will open at 5:30 AM on each Monday morning and each day the boys will be fully engaged in a grueling regimen of conditioning drills, devotional time, running, sprinting, weight lifting, football instruction, eating, and sleeping. The camp will conclude on Friday morning with a 12-mile "Warrior Run" and then a celebration swim at Possum Kingdom Lake. The camp is a time for each young man to grew spiritually, mentally, physically, and athletically and to also grow united as a team. The schedule for Warriors camp is:
Practice & Game Schedule Regular team practices will begin immediately after Warriors camp. A week of two-a-day practices will be conducted the week of August 9.
