PT Warriors Football Parker-Tarrant Home School Sports' (PTHSS) 6-man Football second season is ready to kickoff! After a successful inagural season in 2008, we have some significant improvements coming for 2009. This year we are adding a Junior High team. We already have a full slate of fall games. And for the first time the Texas Home School 6-man Football teams, including our own PT Warriors, will be competing in an "Ironman" football tournament at the end of the 2009 season. Jon Blackburn will once again be leading our program. Our young men will be challenged not only with new football and physical skills, but character and life skills as well. The PTHSS football program is for home-schooled young men 6th through 12th grade. (Athletes must at least 10 by Sept 1, 2008; note that players will be assessed for participation based on their physical and emotional maturity.) Registration Registration will be conducted on Tuesday, June 2 at our Annual PTHSS Member and Information Meeting. Details on the meeting at provided on our home page. Both returning and new players are required to fill out a Member / Athlete registration form and a medical release form. These two forms are available on our organization page or at the bottom of this page. It will speed the registration process on Tuesday night if you bring these forms already filled out. Please note that at least one parent and the each athlete are required to read and sign a statement that they have read and agree to abide by our organization's guidelines and rules of conduct. We are in the process of making minor changes to this document; however, we recommend you read the current version prior to attending the meeting. We will have copies of the new revision on Tuesday night that highlight the changes. The fee for PTHSS Football is $400 for new players and $225 for returning players. One half this fee is due upon registration. The other half of the fee is due prior to the start of two-a-day practices. As always, PTHSS works to keep our player fees as low as possible. Fund raising activity may be required to offset some expenses. Off Season Conditioning Football is a physical sport. The Warriors aim to be the most physically prepared team on the field every game. As such, our off season program is critical to our success. Off season conditioning is not required, but all players hoping to contribute to a winning Warriors season are strongly encouraged to attend as many of the conditioning sessions as possible. The schedule for Warriors Off Season Conditioning is:

The camp will conclude on Friday morning with a 12-mile "Warrior Run" and then a celebration swim at Possum Kingdom Lake. The camp is a time for each young man to grew spiritually, mentally, physically, and athletically and to also grow united as a team. The schedule for Warriors camp is:
